AOSP Gingerbread 2.3.7 For Samsung Galaxy Y


Hey everyone , today we’re gonna take a look at a new rom and that is AOSP Gingerbread ! It came from android 2.3.7 (yes you are right that is android 2.3.7 not 2.3.6) it developed by spacecaker at xda developers . For those who are not understand what means is ‘AOSP’ which is Android Open Source Project .Which means that this rom is a pure Gingerbread rom and does not include a single Samsung or carrier bloatware app and the rom zip file just have about 70MB !

  1. Download the RC1 AOSP and the
  2. Go to Recovery mode and Flash the
  3. After that go to CWM recovery and go to Mounts & Storage > Format System,Data and Cache
  4. Mount all of them again
  5. Go to Install Zip from SD Card
  6. Choose Zip from SD Card
  7. Choose the V4 AOSP
  8. Wipe data/factory reset
  9. Reboot and enjoy.
